about

Dimly Lit Existence pulls you into a portal of expressive episodes.
A saga filled with weightless dreamy dark skies and dank dubby
rooms of paradise. This mostly instrumental affair evokes mysteries
wrapped in lush atmospherics and futuristic crackle.

Orchestrating it all is SlowPitch (Cheldon Paterson) from his central
post in Toronto, Canada. On this full length debut, SlowPitch displays
well-crafted electronic rhythms thoroughly sprinkled with his skilled
avante garde turntablist flair.

Guest features come by way of Pursuit Grooves rapping over the
aggressively tasty anthem 'Organic Seed', the silky vocal stylings of
Shikha on the beautiful and catchy 'Robotic Rein Cells' and
France-based Linear Bells plays passionate synthesizers on 'Unfolding'.

Dimly Lit Existence is a musical narrative to be enjoyed from
beginning to end. [ www.whatrules.net ]
